Ok. Tell me if this makes since. A girl and a boy have been in a relationship for 5 years. They both have their own money income. And the girl is constantly spending hers on stupid things. These people don't have a lot of money, but they get by. So when they start having extra money, the boy talks about using his money to pay for a tattoo. The boy never asks for anything, meanwhile the girl is constantly buying things, even when they're tight on cash. The girl proceeds to yell at him. She then goes and buys 2 massage chairs, new boots, a new coat, and some other stupid shit, like Xmas decorations, for next year. So the boy asks a simple enough question..."Why do I always get yelled at when I talk about buying something for myself?" At this, the girl went off her ladder, screamed at him, and told him over and over again how it was stupid and he couldn't afford it. I'd like to say again, it's HIS money he's spending, not hers. So instead of arguing about it yet again the boy shuts down, gets upset, and gets angry at just about anything. He won't even let anyone talk about it, which is understandable because it probably upsets him all the more. This is a true thing. Don't believe me? The girl in this story, it's my dad's girlfriend, and as you've already guessed, my dad is the boy. Do you think my dad has the right to get his tattoo? After all the money she spends on herself constantly. She claims it's "necessary" but do you agree with her? I'd like to point out, everything she buys, she already has, she just buys more of it. So yeah, I think of it as useless splurging. You be the judge. What's your opinion? Should my dad get the tattoo, or suffer and just stop trying to spend money on himself just because his girlfriend is a selfish hypocrite? Lemme have your opinion.
